Vow of Non-Silence: A Call Worthy of Answering

This signature campaign is excellent. It shall encourage people to think about corruption in all spheres of public health, and hopefully to act by writing or speaking about it.

I would suggest that some similar sign-on pledge is distributed through health worker unions and national medical societies or associations given that health workers, at all levels, can see and hear more than health consumers, when it comes to graft and profiteering.

Keep on this road ahead. People whose lives depend on public health services, by far the majority in most countries, have the Right to health. Accountability is essential for this right to be a reality. Corruption and self-interest decreases access to health services by pilfering needed resources, so is not only a violation of the law, but of others human rights.

I have signed the Vow of Non Silence, and will encourage others to do so. I await further information on this worthy campaign.

I agree, and have also signed the Vow

Looking at this website is invigorating. Its not selling anything, not marketing anything, not seeking anything except visitors to think and perhaps act for the benefit of others. I also found certain nice surprises, like this Vow, and your comment. So how does this campaign get into the medical associations and health worker trade unions? It is an interesting campaign that could put corruption in the health sector in the bright spotlight. It is for us to figure out how to turn on the switch. Any thoughts?
